SUSAN G. KOMEN TARRANT COUNTY “CLICK FOR THE CURE!”Susan G. Komen
Witherspoon was honored to provide creative support for the 2009 Susan G. Komen Tarrant County "Click for the Cure!" campaign. In past years, the main fundraising effort has centered on the annual "Race (or Walk) for the Cure!" walk and run. For 2009, Susan G. Komen Foundation officials from Tarrant County wanted to emphasize that anyone could donate to the cause, regardless of whether or not they participated in the event.

 

360 WEST MAGAZINE LAUNCH360 West
Sensing a need to provide Tarrant, Johnson, Parker and (southern) Denton counties with a publication that reflected the culture, people and events of the western part of the DFW metro area, former Star-Telegram Vice President of Marketing Jerry Scott has teamed with former Indulge Editor Meda Kessler to create 360 West.To create awareness of the publication's launch, 360 West called on Witherspoon to provide public relations support with regional media. The Witherspoon PR team went to work, developing a comprehensive list of media targets, message refinement and press release services for the launch.

 

WESTWOOD WINDOW RECEIVES KUDOSWestwood Window
For many years Witherspoon has produced "Window," Westwood Contractors' industry newsletter. While attending the Retail Contractors Association trade show this year, Westwood's Marketing VP, Paul Studebaker, received numerous kudos from their big-name clients like Nike, Limited Brands, Sterling Jewelers, bebe, and others on its content, design and production.
